Ombre overtake!

Ombre has been around for a while now, and it's gone from curtains to bedding, rugs to vases, to pretty much every soft furnishing and accessory you can think of. So naturally, it has been taken to the next step... and it can not only accessorize a room, but be the theme and feature of it. Ombre flooring and wall coverings are in, I was pleased to see during my visit to the Ideal Home Show last week that it was featured in the room sets designed by Sophie Robinson.

The wall colours were supposed to form a typical colour blending ombre feature, but ended up with the super cool spongy effect!

Feeling inspired?! I have picked my favourite ombre wall and floor coverings below:

How not to love this super striking wall mural? An amazing statement in any room. It would look very fresh in a bedroom with white floor boards, or a very stylish dining room... This is Blue Grunge wall mural from Murals Wallpaper.

For a more budget-friendly option, Not On The High Street sells this Colour Blend self-adhesive wallpaper, and they come in three different colours!

Now ready to go one step further? Ok here it goes... for a real statement we can get Aurora Flooring from Murafloor, how amazing would this look in a boys nursery or coordinating kitchen?

There is also something else that caught my eye, if colour statement is what we want, here is how we make it:

This is the Rainbow Watercolour self-adhesive wallpaper by Oakdene designs, sold online by NOTHS. Love love love it!

And to finish off in Easter style, here's how to add ombre to your table styling: the Metallic Ombre Glassware from West Elm would make any family lunch more trendy. wineglassesombre

Off now to look for a yummy Easter recipe (creme egg milk shake?) and to start off the living room mood board, exciting!

Happy Easter!
